Football: Tigers & Eagles have setbacks; Otters win

In local high school football action, Middlebury saw a comeback fall short in taking a Division I road loss against a traditional rival, the Tigers’ first setback; one unfortunate quarter undid the Mount Abraham-Vergennes cooperative team in a D-II loss on the road in what was also the Eagles’ first setback; and D-III Otter Valley picked up its first win by knocking off a D-II team under the Otters’ new home lights.
