City delays plan to study fire, rescue regionalization

The Vergennes City Council once again last week tabled a proposal for a study to be co-funded by Ferrisburgh that would look at the possible benefits of regionalization of the area’s fire and rescue services.

Ferrisburgh tweaks town tax rate slightly

The Ferrisburgh selectboard on Tuesday slightly lowered the municipal portion of the town’s property tax rates that it had adopted on July 5, dropping the town portion by less than half a cent.
