Letter to the editor: Cordes shows up for the county

I will be voting for Mari Cordes for state representative this cycle, and I am asking you all to do the same. Mari Cordes has been showing up for Addison County residents since 2018. This past session, she sponsored many bills related to making healthcare more affordable, supporting public education, preventing gun violence, lowering emissions, and building resilience against climate change.

I am proud that one of the first votes I will ever cast will be for Jeanne Albert. Jeanne is everything I look for in a candidate: she is passionate, principled, and has proven her dedication to Addison County many times over.

At a time of rising antisemitism, hate and intolerance throughout the United States, Vermont students have begun to take on the responsibility of sharing the lessons of the Holocaust with their schools and communities.
