Letter to the editor: Albert touted for House seat
I am proud that one of the first votes I will ever cast will be for Jeanne Albert. Jeanne is everything I look for in a candidate: she is passionate, principled, and has proven her dedication to Addison County many times over. As a young voter, I am supporting Jeanne because I know she will fight for the things I care about. Jeanne believes in green energy and will advocate for a smooth and financially responsible transition to alternative energy sources. She supports climate justice initiatives which are becoming increasingly important with the terrible floods Vermont has been experiencing. Jeanne is an educator and so I know that protecting children in schools through common sense gun laws is high on her priority list.
Jeanne is ready to bring Addison County values to Montpelier. I encourage you all to check out her website jeanneforvermont.org to learn more. Ready to vote for her? Early voting is already underway. Reach out to your town clerk to make your voice heard or make sure you get to the polls before 7 p.m. on August 13th.
