The Mount Abraham Union High School softball team breezed past host Spaulding on Tuesday afternoon, 12-0 in five innings, to remain unbeaten in the early going.

In the Mount Abraham gym on Thursday night, the Eagles and the visiting MUHS took turns going on runs. In the end, the Tigers rallied last to defeat the Eagles, 51-45.

The Yellowjackets threw a sideline trapping defense at the Eagles in the final period, and Mount Abe committed six turnovers down the stretch. But the Eagles pulled it together and pulled away.
