Bevere to run for state’s attorney

A candidate has stepped forward to run for Addison County state’s attorney, a post held by Eva Vekos, whose law license was suspended last week.

A former Addison County sheriff with criminal convictions could land on a national database that flags when someone has lost the certification they need to work as a law enforcement officer.
