DONALD SANBORN OF Pittsford is clearly enthralled with his newborn daughter, Raigan, during a new child visit to Porter Hospital on Monday. Raigan, who arrived on Jan. 2, was the first baby born in Addison County in 2025, and the sixth child born to her mother, Brittanie Loso Sanborn.

AREA CHILDREN ON Dec. 31 found a great way to celebrate the dawn of a new year, without staying up past their bedtimes. Middlebury’s Ilsley Library offered a kid-friendly “countdown to noon” this past New Year’s Eve, which included crafts, snacks, story time and a balloon drop as the clock ticked past noon.
