FOUR FIRE TRUCKS and a handful of personnel rolled out to respond to a fire alarm at St. Stephen’s Church on Main Street in Middlebury on Feb. 17. The firefighters were professional and thorough, checking out the possible causes for the alarm and not leaving until the alarm device was cleared.
