The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival, which opens this Wednesday, kicked off its first-ever pre-festival event this past Friday when actor Peter Sarsgaard and his wife actor and director Maggie Gyllenhaal came to Town Hall Theater for a screening of “Shattered Glass.” After the film, Middlebury College Professor of Theater Alex Draper and Sarsgaard had a thought-provoking conversation on stage.
