Happy Noon Year’s Eve!

Jan 5, 2023 | Photos of the Week

WHEN PARENTS ARE finally able to get their kids to sleep through the night, the last thing they want to do is keep them up until midnight on New Year’s Eve to mark the change of the calendar. Middlebury’s Ilsley Public Library on Saturday hosted an año nuevo party 12 hours early, where kids and families counted down to 2023 at noon. Memorializing the event in front of a Times Square backdrop are Joe and Mira Cabrera of Middlebury with their sons, Lumen, 2 and Orien, 4. Independent photo/Steve James
