Visit the Addison Town Hall on Sept. 14
ADDISON — The Addison Town Hall Committee invites the public to an open house at the Town Hall this Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This is the first public event to be held in the historic town hall in many years and a chance to see the beautiful interior of this 19th-century town building.
Information will be provided on the upcoming wastewater bond vote and how it relates to the restoration of the historic town hall.
Enjoy cider and home-baked cookies as well as an exhibit by the Addison Historical Society, photographs by Bob Schatz, quilts by Martha Keagle, spinning demonstration by Deb Laramie and antique stationary engine display by Dave Carpenter.
The bell still works and, if you ask, you might be able to ring it for all to hear!
