Zig Zag Lit Mag is open for submissions

The folks behind Zig Zag Lit Mag would like to remind you that this could be your last, best chance to accomplish something SMART™ with your quarantine.
Specifically — accepting writing (fiction, nonfiction, dramatic forms, poetry, et. al; any genre, any topic) and art (high-res, black-and-white, photography, doodles, paintings, etc.)
Measurable — maximum of three pieces per person, up to 3,000 words each.
Attainable — submissions are accepted only from those who live, labor or loiter in Addison County.
Results — Issue.10 is on track to be our best issue ever and “published” looks nice on all sorts of resumes, applications and what-have-yous.
Time Bound — it certainly is, the last day for submissions is Jan. 5.
For more information visit zigzaglitmag.org/submissions.
Zig Zag Lit Mag also recently pre-released our first two Chapbooks. Copies are all autographed and hand numbered. They are $8 apiece and limited. Find more at etsy.com/shop/zigzaglitmag.
Harriet Tubman Killed My Chicken
by Beth Christian of Weybridge.
This is a passionate collection that exemplifies the vacillation between prudence and zaniness. Beth reflects on her own bipolar diagnosis, her small pseudo-farm near a waterfall, and her time spent abroad.
Paul in the Park
by A. Jay Dubberly
Our editor in chief’s first poetry collection takes place during the beginning month of the pandemic, through a rough linear narrative he balances embracing the isolation of quarantine with the deep urge for human connection.
