KENNETH RONALD BROWN

MIDDLEBURY — A proud member of the United States Marine Corp who served in the latter years of the Korean Conflict, Kenneth Ronald Brown, 89, of Middlebury Vt., formerly of Ringwood N.J., passed away April 26, 2026.

Ken was a private man who enjoyed reading mysteries, watching history documentaries and “fine dining.” He was happiest in the company of family and friends and cooking up masterpieces on the grill for all to enjoy.

Ken is survived by his wife, Diane J. Brown; his children, Lynda Blake, Kimberly Wnek and Lisa Chiappinelli; his brother Alan Brown; and beloved nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Ellsworth and Vivian Brown; and his brothers Ellsworth Brown Jr., Richard Brown and Robert Lawrence Brown.

Ashes will be interred at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center, Vt., at a date to be determined.
