Heffernan, Cochran earn Republican nod

STEVEN HEFFERNAN, RIGHT, was the top vote-getter, receiving 1,928 votes. James Cochran was second with 855, and Lesley Bienvenue garnered 599, according to results reported to the Independent by town clerks.

Bristol’s Steven Heffernan and Huntington’s Landel James Cochran prevailed in Tuesday’s Republican primary for the Addison Senate district, both finishing ahead of Lesley J. Bienvenue of Leicester.
