Middlebury police to launch drone program
MIDDLEBURY POLICE ARE devising their own drone program to help resolve future cases involving missing persons or active shooters, and to help evaluate damage following natural disasters. They plan to use a drone like this one used by Vermont State Police.

The program will give local officers an extra set of high-in-the-sky eyes to help find missing persons, monitor active-shooter situations, inspect natural-disaster areas, and document crime and accident scenes.
