BRISTOL — Bristol police on Aug. 26 cited Edward Curavoo, 65, of Bristol for simple assault following an investigation.

Between Aug. 23 and 29, Bristol police completed 15 foot patrols and two car patrols, conducted eight traffic stops and checked security at local schools 10 times and at area businesses four times.

Police also processed 15 fingerprint requests, conducted community outreach, attended one event, responded to one incident involving fraud and assisted two businesses, one citizen and one other agency.

In other recent activity, police responded to two thefts, two animal problems, two incidents involving crash damage, one parking problem and one case of trespassing.
