Bristol man pleads guilty to luring a child

Troopers were assisted by the Vermont Highway Patrol.

Vermont State Police and the Vermont Drug Task Force were also present to execute a search warrant on Route 7 last week.

The citation stems from an ongoing harassment investigation in the Jayne Court area.

Bristol police responded to 85 calls for service throughout the first week of this month.

Two incidents occurred on Sept. 3 and the third on Sept. 6.

Police reported two citations for impaired driving on Addison County roads in the past week.

Deputies were made aware of a theft that had just taken place at Shaw’s.

Responders at the scene found the driver with minor injuries.

Between Aug. 23 and 29, Bristol police completed 15 foot patrols and two car patrols.

The most notorious was a Nissan Altima that killed a motorcyclist on Route 7.

Middlebury police on Aug. 29 arrested Julia E. Benjamin, 40, of Middlebury.

Officers were spread out in the city for Vergennes Day.

The burglary was reported to have occurred at the JD’s Quick Stop
