Bristol Police Log: Man arrested after not appearing for court date
BRISTOL — Bristol police on July 31 arrested Peter J. Nelson, 58, of Bristol on a warrant for failing to appear for a previous court date for driving with a criminally suspended license.
Between July 26 and Aug. 1, Bristol police completed five foot patrols and one car patrol, conducted two traffic stops and checked security at local schools 11 times and at area businesses four times.
Police also processed 11 fingerprint requests, verified one vehicle identification number, attended two events and assisted citizens on one occasion and other agency in three instances.
In other recent activity, Bristol police responded to two incidents involving suspicious activity, two animal problems, one wanted person case and one fraud.
