Teens pay tribute to a mountain of a friend

EACH YEAR, STUDENTS at Ripton’s North Branch School create a wooden sculpture to which they attach important mementos, and then symbolically set it aflame. North Branch School students and alumnae created a wooden sculpture honoring former student Makalu Bagnulo, who passed away from brain cancer earlier this year.
