MIDDLEBURY — It is rare to walk into the lobby of a retirement community and be greeted by a racecar. But that is exactly what you will find if you head to EastView over the next few weeks.

EastVIew’s current art show,  “On the Move” features a Lotus 7 Series 1 racecar. The show was the brainchild of EastView resident Peter Beckett, who is a member of the Resident Art Committee and owner of the car. Hand built in England in 1957 by Colin Chapman, the car was successfully raced in Canada for 25 years. Visitors are encouraged to stop by EastView to view the show, which is expected to run until mid-August.
