Letter to the editor: Elder’s experience makes him the ideal candidate

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Caleb Elder for Vermont Senate representing Addison County, Buel’s Gore, Huntington, and Rochester. Caleb’s dedication to serving his community and his proven track record of leadership — including his six years as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives — make him the ideal candidate for this important position.

Caleb’s experience in the House has given him invaluable insight into the legislative process and the importance of working collaboratively to address the needs of his constituents. During his time in office, Caleb has shown a willingness to listen to all perspectives and find common-sense solutions to complex problems. His primary focus as senator will be to find innovative, pragmatic ways to advocate for fiscally responsible education reform and addressing the housing crisis across Vermont.

In addition to his legislative experience, Caleb has a strong record of community involvement and a deep understanding of the issues facing Vermont. He will work to create a strong economy that works for everyone. His intelligence, pragmatism, creativity, and dedication to making a positive impact on his community make him the ideal candidate for State Senator.

I urge my fellow residents of Addison County to join me in supporting Caleb Elder for Vermont Senate. With his leadership, dedication, and expertise, I am confident that he will be a strong voice for our community and will work tirelessly to make Addison County — and all of Vermont — a better place for us all.
