Inflation a big driver in Middlebury budget

The Middlebury selectboard on Jan. 9 will hold a public hearing on a draft fiscal year 2025 municipal budget of roughly $13.6 million that reflects a 5.5% increase compared to the current $12.92 million spending plan.
