Chicken BBQ set in Cornwall, June 13

CORNWALL — The Cornwall Volunteer Fire Department will once again host its chicken barbecue as a drive-through on Sunday, June 13, from noon until 2 p.m. (or until supplies run out).

The drive-through lunch service will take place at the Cornwall Elementary School parking lot and not at the Route 30 fire station. CVFD is requesting a pay-what-you-can donation. A department member will take cash or check made out to Cornwall Volunteer Fire Department (change will not be available) and then direct your car to a line where you can order and receive your chicken dinners or plain half chickens. There will be bottled water available on request. Sales will be first-come, first-served.

There will be limited parking at the school for those who would like to bring a blanket or lawn chairs to picnic on the school grounds, but there will be no access to the building or restrooms.

The CVFD barbecue last August got incredible support and was sold out in less than an hour. The CVFD members look forward to seeing neighbors, friends and family from the community once again, and thank you in advance for your continued support of the department.
