Robart joins Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vt.

BERLIN — Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont recently welcomed Jason Robart of Cornwall to the non-profit health and wellness organization’s board of directors. Robart, who joined the board along with Karin Chamberlain of Norwich, brings a dynamic knowledge of health care and finance.
Robart is the co-founder of health care advisory and venture capital firm Seae Ventures. The company is dedicated to building and investing in early stage health care technology and services companies primarily founded by women and people who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Color. Prior to leading Seae, he was a senior executive with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. He was responsible for their National Account business, and served as Chief Human Resources Officer, Senior Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness, and as the Chief Strategy Officer. He also helped to create and lead Zaffre Investments.
A graduate of Middlebury College with a Certificate in Private Equity & Venture Capital from Harvard Business School, Robart also serves on the boards of the Eastview at Middlebury retirement community and Middlesex School, a private high school in the Boston area.
