WomenSafe chooses card design

“A MOTHER”S LOVE,” artwork by New Haven artist Kyra Wilson, was chosen as the artwork for this year’s WomenSafe Mother’s Day card fundraiser.

MIDDLEBURY — WomenSafe has released its 2021 Mother’s Day card as part of the organization’s annual Local Artists Series and fundraiser. “A Mother’s Love,” artwork by Addison County artist Kyra Wilson, was chosen for the card.
Wilson is a professional Vermont artist living in New Haven. Her collections can be found across the United States, in Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe and more. This year’s art was especially painted for the WomenSafe Mother’s Day card to show there are no borders to a mother’s love. A mother’s love is not defined by biology — there are no limits, it’s all about love.
Honor any special person in your life who has offered the gift of love to you and those for whom you care. In doing so, you are helping people who may not be safe this Mother’s Day. There are a few ways to donate:
•  Mail a donation to WomenSafe at P.O. Box 67, Middlebury, Vt. 05753, along with the name(s) and address(es) of your chosen honoree(s).
•  Visit WomenSafe’s website at womensafe.net/mothers-day-card-form to fill out a webform and complete a donation online. This year WomenSafe is also offering an e-card option.
WomenSafe will acknowledge the gift by sending honorees this heartfelt card. In addition, each donation of $100 made during the Mother’s Day fundraiser will be entered to win this year’s artwork, which Wilson has donated to WomenSafe.
