MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police cited Brittney J. Rogers-Wilson, 25, of Ellenburg Depot, N.Y., for disorderly conduct, a charge stemming from an incident at a Case Street home on Dec. 20.
Police said they had responded to a report of a domestic dispute with injuries. Police said Middlebury Regional EMS took one of the women involved in the incident to Porter Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
In other action last week, Middlebury police:
•  Cited Scott Clark, 37, of Goshen for retail theft and providing false information to a police officer, following an incident at a Court Street business on Dec. 14.
•  Assisted Counseling Service of Addison County officials with a patient who had allegedly assaulted a staff member at a North Pleasant Street location on Dec. 14. Police said the staff member required no medical attention.
•  Ticketed several vehicles that were in violation of the town’s winter downtown parking ban on Dec. 14.
•  Assisted a man who had been experiencing a mental health issue at the South Village Green housing complex on Dec. 15.
•  Responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a Case Street home on Dec. 16. The victim alleged that her boyfriend had struck her and had stolen her vehicle. The case remains under investigation.
•  Continued their investigation on Dec. 16 into a recent burglary at a Quarry Road home that included the theft of a 1998 black BMW convertible.
•  Served a temporary restraining order on Dec. 16 on a person who wasn’t wanted at a Skyline Lane residence.
•  Received a report on Dec. 16 about several mask-less customers allegedly walking into the Maplefields store on North Pleasant Street.
•  Received a report on Dec. 16 that employees of a Court Street business weren’t wearing face coverings on Dec. 16.
•  Responded to a report that a tractor-trailer truck had hit a cow on Route 7 South on Dec. 17.
•  Conducted a welfare check at a Buttolph Drive home on Dec. 17 and found an elderly woman who had fallen and couldn’t get up.
•  Assisted a driver whose car had been damaged by the door of the car that had been parked next to her in the Porter Hospital on Dec. 18.
•  Served a temporary restraining order on a local resident on Dec. 18.
•  Responded to a report of a Black Lives Matter sign, placed near the intersection of High and Washington streets, had been spray painted with a swastika hate symbol on Dec. 18. Police determined that while the sign had been defaced, it didn’t bear a swastika. Police confirmed other BLM signs in town have been vandalized in a similar way during the past several days, including some that had been posted off Monroe Street and Buttolph Drive.
•  Responded to a Court Street Extension hotel on Dec. 19 on a report of a woman contemplating self-harm. Police said the woman was taken to Porter Hospital for evaluation. Police said they had to assist hospital staff when the patient allegedly became disruptive and attempted to leave.
•  Investigated a report of a local person scammed by a fraudulent gift card on Dec. 19.
•  Ticketed several vehicles that were in violation of the town’s winter downtown parking ban on Dec. 19.
•  Responded to a report of an untimely death of Sabrina Larrow, 34, at a Halladay Road home on Dec. 20. Police said the investigation into this case remains open, pending the results of an autopsy to be performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Burlington.
•  Checked on the welfare of a drunken man found walking on Merchants Row at around 1 a.m. on Dec. 20.
