Letter to the editor: Rep. Harvey Smith’s knowledge is a vital resource
As a lifetime resident of New Haven, and a lifetime independent voter, I’m encouraging all voters that Harvey Smith represents to vote for him. Harvey has always stepped up to help whenever he’s been asked. Most recently, as chair of the New Haven selectboard and a member of the negotiating team for the Town on the Velco Control Center, Harvey was asked to help us with input on Prime Ag soils in regards to project that is coming to New Haven.
Harvey was glad to help out and extremely important in his area of expertise. As a member of the Ag Committee and a farmer he understands the importance of keeping land open and available not only for the farmers but also to keep our landscapes open for us to enjoy the beautiful vistas that we all enjoy in our state.
I’m voting for Harvey Smith and I’m asking you to support him as well.
