The Brandon Artists Guild (the BAG) has expanded its hours. The gallery is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.  Sunday hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Closed Mondays. The BAG is located at 7 Center Street, Brandon.
The gallery’s current ceramic exhibit, “A Space Within,” runs through Nov. 1.  Native Vermonter Dasha Kalisz finds the emotional center of her pieces by combining wheel-thrown forms with traditional and nontraditional surface methods. Her “Lung” series breathes new life into ceramic sculpture in a style that is whimsical, clinical — and topical.
