BAG prepares for eclipse with exhibit

Liza Myers, a painter and sculptor will share her art career Friday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m., at Brandon Artists Guild, 7 Center Street in downtown Brandon.

The downtown Brandon gallery is hung with care to share the joy of the holidays.

For the two artists featured in the newest art exhibition in Brandon, threads are their paint, their clay, their stone, their metal and their canvas.

An all-member and all-media display, this show shares each artist’s favorite spots across Vermont, from crowd-favorite occasions to secret hideaways to even the road that gets you there.

Warren Kimble, at age 87, remembered everywhere as “the contemporary folk artist,” selects a venue dear to his heart to stage what he calls his “last hurrah,” until he retires once again.
