MIDDLEBURY — Described as “dangerously perceptive,” nationally touring, DIY, Indian comedian, Krish Mohan uses his unique brand of comedy to talk about socio-political issues like organized religion, late-stage capitalism and the class system, along with stories about India, in a brand new hour of comedy. Mohan uses storytelling and historic anecdotes to make an audience feel comfortable with talking about tough issues in today’s political climate. This show will go into topics and issues that aren’t covered in mainstream politics or comedy. Come check it out at The Marquis Theater on Friday, Feb. 7, at 8 p.m.
Mohan has been featured on NPR radio stations, performed at several Fringe Festivals (IndyFringe, Pittsburgh Fringe, Capital Fringe, Philly Fringe Arts), where he has been an audience favorite with his unique brand of comedy and social vigilantism.
He has also opened for other nationally touring headliners of note like Stewart Huff, Redacted Tonight’s Lee Camp and Hari Kondabolu. Krish is also the host of the weekly socio-political commentary web show and podcast, “Fork Full of Noodles” and the interview podcast “Taboo Table Talk.”
