Starksboro to host Harvest Supper

STARKSBORO — Starksboro’s annual Harvest Supper will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 in the Robinson Elementary School’s multi-purpose room.
Tickets will be available at the door: $10 for adults, $5 for 12 years and younger, and families (two adults and two children) for $25, with each additional child $3.
The menu will include roasted Stonewood Farm turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, butternut squash soup and roasted root vegetables from Lewis Creek Farm, as well as apple crisp, apple and pumpkin pie served with cold cider or hot tea and coffee. Takeout can be accommodated. All proceeds from the supper benefit the Four Winds natural science program at Robinson School.
The Starksboro Conservation Commission is proud to host the Harvest Supper each year as they share a common goal with the Four Winds Nature Institute — striving to improve environmental literacy throughout our community by providing people of all ages with meaningful opportunities to explore the natural world while learning the creative problem-solving and citizenship skills needed to protect it.
