Canadian roots musician comes to Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY — Catherine MacLellan has become one of Canada’s finest and favorite singer-songwriters on her own merits. She’s kept away from the media circus and celebrity scene, preferring to live at home in rural Prince Edward Island. But she’s coming into the spotlight for a performance on Thursday, Sept. 12, 7:30 p.m., at the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury.
Since releasing her debut album in 2004, MacLellan has toured internationally, and her music has been a perennial fixture at the top of Canada’s Roots Music Charts, winning all sorts of acclaim.
Tickets range from $18 to $30 plus fees and are available at townhalltheater.org, (802) 382-9222, or in person at the boxoffice.
