Joseph Henry Larocque, 67, of Middlebury
MIDDLEBURY — Joseph Henry Larocque, father, brother and friend, passed away on Aug. 20, 2019, from injuries sustained in an unfortunate vehicle accident in Cornwall, Vt. Joe was born in Middlebury on Nov. 10, 1951, and was a lifelong resident of Addison County.
He is survived by his son Casey Larocque and daughter Julie Larocque Baker; three grandchildren, Jade, Sophie and Vance Larocque; his sister Sandra Larocque Savoie and brother Richard Larocque. Joe had a large and very loved extended family including Bill Baker, April Smith, Chaz Wheelock, and countless family and friends that he was blessed to have throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Simone Larocque and two brothers Gary and Larry Larocque.
Joe’s huge heart and contagious laugh will be missed and always cherished by all that knew him. In lieu of flowers the family wishes to remember Joe by donating to a local charity that helps those in need. There will be a celebration of life with the date to be determined at a later time. Joe’s passions included but are not limited to his buddy Bud, baseball stats, a good laugh, piña coladas and getting caught in the rain.
Honor his life by remembering the good times.◊
