The Vermont Symphony Orchestra’s chamber ensemble, conducted by Matt LaRocca, returns Aug. 25, with its pioneering collaboration with the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival.
A free, three-part concert series “Commemorating the Holocaust with Music of Jewish Resistance” will kick off on April 15 at the Havurah House in Middlebury.
The event, which premiered at the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival last August, will feature a live, 22-piece VSO chamber ensemble accompanying seven documentary and animation films with Vermont ties.
Live music will accompany a slate of films screened at Middlebury College during next week’s Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival.
