Trombone choir plays the Little City

Gina Coleman and the Misty Blues Band returns to perform at the Vergennes Opera House on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 7:30 p.m.

Colby Crehan and her bandmates have received accolades, including Vermont Vocalist of the Year and Vermont Song of the Year (Tammie Awards, Barre-Montpelier Times-Argus).

Six years in the making, George Woodard’s “The Farm Boy” has been screening at venues throughout Vermont.

“Our season is positively packed with practically every type of performance and production you can think of,” said Gerianne Smart, President of the Friends of the Vergennes Opera House.

The money will go toward the $1.64 million effort to upgrade accessibility to the theater for all audience members, the stage and green room for all performers, and Vergennes City Hall offices for all visitors.

Patti Casey and Colin McCaffrey with special guest Eric O’Hara are performing at the Vergennes Opera House on Saturday, May 20 to help us close out the very successful 2022-2023 season.

On Tuesday the Vergennes City Council discussed a special city election that could be scheduled for late this spring or early summer and have multiple items on the ballot.

The comedy troupe Stealing from Work performs at the Vergennes Opera House Saturday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m.

“The Summer of Walter Hacks” is a story about young farm boy, during one hard summer in 1952 where after a tragedy on the farm, he and his brother are faced with some tough decisions.

Lucky for us, an afternoon magic show is slated for Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Vergennes Opera House, with magician Alyx Hilshey.
