VERGENNES — Attention runners, walkers and wannabes: You’re invited to join the 38th Annual Vergennes Day Race featuring a 5K run, 10K run, 15K run and 5K walk this coming Saturday morning. Each year the Vergennes Day Race committee chooses a local non-profit as the beneficiary of the race proceeds. This year’s beneficiary is Age Well, an organization dedicated to the support and care of older adults in Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle counties.
