Two proud daughters of Vergennes are deeply dismayed to learn about the decision to include Article 7 on the March 4 ballot. The City of Vergennes should refrain from taking official stances on foreign affairs.

Bristol’s Town Meeting Day ballot on March 4 will feature a three-person race for two seats representing the town on the Mount Abraham Unified School District Board.

Highlighting Town Meeting Day voting in Monkton are races for three seats on the town’s selectboard, which have opened up after a few longtime members decided to step down from their posts.

Two candidates are running for a seat on the Panton selectboard on Town Meeting Day. They are longtime incumbent Howard Hall and challenger Reece Jaring.

Without a doubt, the most crowded races on Bristol’s Town Meeting Day ballot this year will be those for seats on the Lawrence Memorial Library Board of Trustees.

The Bristol selectboard has approved a fiscal year 2026 budget proposal that reflects $3,784,825 in total spending, up 8.31% from the current year.

New Haven voters on Town Meeting Day will weigh in on a two-person race for one of the town’s seats on the Mount Abraham Unified School District Board.
