‘A Celebration of Trees’ opens March 24

In collaboration with the Middlebury Tree Committee, “A Celebration of Trees” is the new exhibit on view beginning tomorrow, March 24, at Sparrow Art Supply in Middlebury, next to the waterfall and down the stairs.

Showcasing works by over 50 audacious artists, Magenta celebrates this vibrant hue across monotone pieces, and it appears as a pop of color to bring focus in others.

The gallery is decked with all sorts of truly unique gifts, from fine artwork to pottery to candles to fused glass and more.

Get ready for a tiny exhibition, literally.

At the end of the summer, Sparrow Art Supply on Main Street in Middlebury will welcome a guest exhibition by the Orwell Artists.

Over 30 artists illustrate the theme in all kinds of ways, through showcasing intricate processes, giving routine moments the spotlight, bending perspectives, transforming recycled objects and beyond.

Beth Svenningsen and her fiancé were among the legions of city dwellers who sought greener, rural pastures during the height of the pandemic early last year.
