Experience a 19th-Century séance at Rokeby

Returning to Rokeby Museum Oct. 25 and 26 is the annual spiritualism play. This year’s play, “Spirits of Rokeby: Voices from the Summer Land,” features a new script inspired by Rokeby and Vermont’s spiritualist history.

Having a great day is as easy as pie at Rokeby Museum’s annual Pie & Ice Cream Social this Sunday, August 11, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Each July the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife deploys community scientists to conduct a census of established bat colonies.

“Seeking Freedom: The Underground Railroad and the Legacy of an Abolitionist Family” immerses visitors in the history of the Underground Railroad and the struggle for freedom.

To raise funds for Rokeby Museum’s Education Department, the organization will host the second annual Music with the Museum on Thursday, May 30, at 6 p.m., at the Ferrisburgh Town Hall and Community Center.

Rokeby Museum in Ferrisburgh is in the midst of its annual fund drive, with a goal of $40,000.

Mid-morning on July 15, Rokeby Museum held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and name unveiling for the new collections storage building on the property. The new building was made possible thanks to a Preservation Sponsorship by PC Construction.
