On July 5, Rokeby Museum and the Friends of Union Meeting Hall are hosting two family-friendly events that honor the life and legacy of Frederick Douglass.

Rokeby Museum extends showing of ‘Lift Every Voice’

“Lift Every Voice” is an exhibition of 15 hooked rugs reproduced from Elizabeth Catlett’s 1947 “I am the Black Woman” series. Catlett’s 15 linocuts commemorate African American women’s historical oppression, resistance, and survival.

Rokeby Museum to hold concert fundraiser

Rokeby Museum will host Music with the Museum, an evening of food and music with renowned musicians Paul Asbell and Bob Stannard at the historic Ferrisburgh Town Community Center on Thursday, May 25, at 6 p.m.
