Panther softball improves to 13-3

The Middlebury College softball team improved to 13-3 by winning nine of 12 games between March 13 and Tuesday. That included a 7-3 record on their annual trip to Clermont, Fla., and a doubleheader sweep on this Tuesday in their return to their home field.

Women’s hockey advances to Frozen Four

The No. 4 Middlebury College women’s hockey hosted No. 12 Nazareth in an NCAA quarter-final on Saturday. After beating the Golden Flyers, the Panthers will face NECAC nemesis Amherst in an NCAA semi-final this weekend.

Panther baseball goes 1-3

The Middlebury College baseball team lost three of four recent games, one played at home and three in California on the Panthers’ spring break trip. Midway through their journey westward, Middlebury’s record stood at 5-6.

Panther Coach Jeff Brown will step down in May
