The Leicester Republican and Democratic party caucuses will be held in mid-September.

Five fire departments responded to a fire at the Cole Farm off Route 7 in Leicester Friday morning and extinguished a smokey fire.

Green Up Day is Saturday, May 3. A free lunch for volunteers will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day, in front of the Meeting House. The trailer to collect Green Up bags will be at the Town Shed all day. Bags are available at the Town Office.

The Leicester Historical Society is sponsoring Prize Bingo on Sat., May 10, at 1 p.m., at the Senior Center at the Four Corners. Refreshments served and all are welcome.

Dogs were due to be licensed by April 1. If residents have not yet registered their dogs, and to avoid fines and/or penalties, register your dogs as soon as possible.

Michael Lee Tebbetts, 64, passed away Feb.12, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home in Leicester. He grew up in Leicester and Brandon, where he received his early education. Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Town Clerk Julie Delphia reminds voters that ballots need to be returned to the Town Office by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5. If you plan to mail your ballot, check with the post office to make sure it will be delivered in time.
