Lathrop pleads guilty in embezzlement case

Bristol resident Jodi Lathrop on Monday pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Burlington to charges of wire fraud and tax evasion, stemming from an embezzlement scheme that netted an estimated $400,000 from the Claire Lathrop Band Mill in Bristol between June 2014 and April 2020, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Lathrop pleads not guilty to 19 counts

Jodi Lathrop of Bristol pleaded not guilty on Feb. 15 in United States District Court to an indictment charging her with mail and wire fraud, tax evasion and aiding the preparation of falsified tax returns.
