Letter to the editor: Trump’s flaws are obvious

As an intellectual failure, Donald Trump has a vast following of grammar school grads, who can identify with the knowledge gap and reject the smart elitism of their successful liberal enlightened neighbors.

On Tuesday, ex-president Donald Trump made history again. He is the first former president to be indicted on three separate criminal charges.

This week’s criminal indictment of ex-president Donald Trump is historic news that can’t be overstated, ignored by those turned off by politics, or dismissed by Trump supporters spewing nonsense as political persecution by President Joe Biden. 

On Tuesday, ex-president Trump got the kind of sordid notoriety that only a true publicity hound could relish: He became the first former or current president to be charged with a crime.

The consternation in Congress about whether to make public six years’ worth of ex-president Donald Trump’s tax information was overly wrought by a Congress, and media pundits, fearful of the truth.
