The MUHS girls’ and boys’ hockey teams, and the VUHS boys’ basketball team, exited state tournaments in the semifinal rounds.

The Commodores triumphed over Winooski for a third time this season. But the victory was their first playoff win against the team after post-season loses to the Spartans three times in the past four years.

The VUHS boys’ basketball, MUHS boys’ hockey and MUHS girls’ hockey teams all upset their way to playoff semifinal games this week.

Neither Middlebury College hockey team made the NCAA tournament this year.
