MIDDLEBURY — Charlotte K. Chase died peacefully at her home. Charlotte was a long time Addison County resident before needing to move. She was born to Rufus and Katherine Chase in Newport, R.I., where she was raised. She later attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill., in the footsteps of her father. She went on to become a teacher and later transitioned to working in the Student Activities Office at Middlebury College.
