The charges against the 26-year-old man stemmed from a recent investigation conducted by the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
According to the department, the calls came late at night and no one spoke.

Troopers arrested a driver on suspicion of DUI, while a deputy remained with the vehicle until it was towed.
Police also took into protective custody a baby bunny that had been turned into headquarters.
Three Addison County residents were taken into custody by federal immigration officials on Tuesday.
Among the items police did deal with was helping a person by providing information on how to file a complaint with the Vermont Human Rights Commission.
The woman was cited for allegedly damaging security cameras and apartment windows.
Police also recently recovered an ATM they believe is connected to a theft in Bristol.
Police reported a relatively quiet Independence Day Weekend except for two incidents of assault.
The suspect is due to answer charges in court on Monday, June 29.
