Patricia Reid, the museum’s Director of Collections, will tell the story of the third day of the Battle of Lake Champlain. Early that morning, Patriot soldiers surrendered the row galley Washington, and she’ll relate that moment from the perspective of Lyman Noble, who was captured with other crewmembers. In between the two fleets, Patricia will tell the story of nine-year-old Sally (Kellogg) Markham.
