Vermont State Police Log for Jun. 24

ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police responded to a report of an assault at a Silver Street home in Monkton on June 14 at a little after 8:30 p.m. Through investigation troopers determined that Brittany Zwynenburg, 31, of Monkton had assaulted a 62-year-old Monkton man.

Police cited Zwynenburg for simple assault. She is due to answer the charge in the Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on Aug. 2.

In other recent activity, Vermont State Police:

•  On June 17 at around 7:50 p.m. saw Japheth Kehoe, 37, of New Haven in the parking lot of the Maplefields gas station on Route 7 in New Haven. Troopers knew there was a warrant out for Kehoe’s arrest for failure to appear in court, so they arrested him and took him to the New Haven barracks for processing. After processing Kehoe, state police released him into the custody of the Addison County Sheriff’s Department in lieu of bail.

•  On June 19 at 7:25 a.m. logged complaint that someone at Autumn Lane in Bristol had violated their conditions of release. Troopers investigated and said that Claudette Vaughan, 51, of New Haven had violated her conditions of release by contacting an individual she was not supposed to have contact with. They cited Vaughn for violation of conditions of release.
