SOUTH BURLINGTON — The Middlebury Union High School boys’ lacrosse team remained undefeated after Saturday’s game in South Burlington thanks to Jack Hounchell’s late goal, which secured the 6-5 win for the Tigers. It was Hounchell’s third goal of the day and came just three minutes before the final whistle.
Senior Connor Quinn added a goal and two assists to the Tiger effort vs. the 2014 Division-I finalist.
Nathan Lalonde stopped 16 Rebel shots, while his opposite number turned away 10 Tiger shots.
The 3-0 Tigers are on school break this week, but return to action next Monday at Woodstock and the following Wednesday at Champlain Valley.
